I'm a certified Buteyko Method Breathwork Instructor, trained through the internationally recognised Buteyko Clinic International — completing my teacher training in August 2024, including an in-person intensive in Galway, Ireland in April 2024 with Patrick McKeown. I'm also a certified Pranayama Teacher with a 50-hour qualification from Sampoorna Yoga, registered with Yoga Alliance.

My journey to breathwork began from a deeply personal place. Breathing has always been something I took for granted — until I discovered just how transformative it could be to breathe well. That discovery changed everything, and it's what I now dedicate my work to.

My approach is grounded in science, guided by nature, and held with deep care for each person I work with. I believe the breath is the most powerful tool we carry — and that with the right guidance, anyone can learn to use it.

Based in Porto, Portugal, I work with individuals, groups and organisations across Portugal and online worldwide. Whether you're navigating stress, poor sleep, low energy, or simply seeking more presence — I'm here to guide you.

Science-backed
The Buteyko Method is rooted in respiratory physiology. Its foundation is the Bohr Effect — the principle, established by Danish physiologist Christian Bohr in 1904, that CO₂ regulates the release of oxygen from haemoglobin to body tissues. Chronic overbreathing lowers CO₂ levels, paradoxically reducing cellular oxygenation. Buteyko practice restores healthy CO₂ tolerance through light, slow nasal breathing — rebalancing the body's respiratory chemistry from the inside out.

Breath is our most direct connection to the natural world. My practice draws on the wisdom of nature — slowness, rhythm, and deep listening.
